Hisham Y. Abdel Rahman

Hisham Yusuf Abdelrahman, a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI), a VIP member in the worldwide Who’s Who USA Registry of executives, professionals and entrepreneurs, is a resourceful and experienced senior manager who leads H&H consultancy, which is a knowledge intensive management consultancy firm besides he is the President of H&H Leadership Academy, since 2001. Currently he is also “Retainer Consultant” as Chief Administration Officer at SUSB General Trading LLC  –  Dubai.  Hisham   is  the  project  founder  and  was  the  General  Manager of AL- Faisal Cultural Center. Hisham is an adjunct professor at many academic institutions. He served as a principal consultant at Skopos Consulting and Louise Allan Worldwide and also accredited consultant to the World Bank and the United Nation. Working amid analytical knowledge environment, Hisham expertise covers wide-ranging disciplines including R&D, technical, managerial, financial, administration, quality, legal and cultural activities. He has extensive experience in analytical researches, innovation, strategic management, corporate finance & financial management, business development, process mapping and reengineering, organization development, marketing strategies, HR practices, operations management, projects management, contracts and agreements negotiations.  Dr. Hisham has around 35 year of experience in designing, delivering and managing major organization and conducted research studies besides business development strategies for both public and private sector in addition to NGOs and has the capacity to evaluate their effectiveness. Dr. Hisham authored or co-authored several articles and numerous applied analytical reports on different sectors and interdisciplinary projects.

Dr. Hisham has a proven track record of leading high performance teams and senior level negotiation, representation and liaison with federal government, state government, local authorities and NGOs as well as establishing effective cross-organizational partnerships and networking; nationally and internationally. He is versatile and detail-oriented. He is consistently successful in pre-project planning, project implementation, client relationship management, and cost controls to increase organizations’ revenue and maximize profit performance.

Dr. Hisham is working closely with numerous prestigious agencies, organization and companies such as, but not limited to, the Ministry of Energy and Mining (Sudan), the Ministry of Electricity and Water (Kuwait), The World Bank and Skopos Consulting & Louise Allen Worldwide and successfully organized and facilitated interventions in companies such as Zain Telecommunication Group (Sudan, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia), in addition to international organizations such as the World Bank, DFID, UNDP, UNMIS, IFC, IFES, IRI and USAID on most facets of management, business development and people-related disciplines.

Hisham leads from front and by example. He believes in the strength of teamwork. He is flexible, responsive to new ideas, environment and reliable. Hisham is self-motivated, creative and have successfully taken on new types of projects, jobs and roles with no precedents.

Fully bi-lingual in both Arabic and English. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, experienced public speaker with substantial experience of lecturing, facilitation and coordination of learning, training and knowledge transfer events. Hisham is a player and passionate to make a difference to people's lives.

Dr. Hisham has a PhD in Business Administration, a Two in One Master of Business Administration (MBA and Aviation MBA – John Molson School of Business - Concordia University - Canada), Higher Diploma in MIS (USDA Graduate School - USA) and BSc in Electronic Engineering (Egypt). Dr. Hisham has performed numerous assessments and workshops for renowned business and international organizations, utilizing key success attributes in delivering feasible results and providing effective leadership.

Ms. Hiba has over 20 years experience in designing and managing major organizational and public sector development projects. She is an expert in community development strategies for both governmental and non governmental organizations, leading high performance teams and senior level negotiations as well as establishing effective cross-organizational partnerships and networking with federal government, state government, local authorities and NGOs.


Ms. Hiba's wide-ranging experience includes strategic management, training of trainers for conflict resolution, human resources development, training coordinators to work on the state’s development schemes, marketing research and management, gender integration in development plans.


Ms. Hiba is an Ex State Minister of the Ministry of Human Resources Development. She was also the Head of the Microfinance Unit in the Central Bank of Sudan. Hiba served as an expert advisor to the Minister of Welfare and Social Development and the Secretary General of the Graduate Employment Fund where she established the Graduates Employment Fund program; she also headed the marketing center of small families’ products fund, the Micro Credit Department and Sudan House of Handicrafts.


Ms. Hiba is also the Founder and General manager of “Leaders of Change”, a management consultancy whose main focus is in Public Policy issues, Microfinance and Public Sector Reforms. Leaders of Change is a sister business to H&H Consultancy.


Ms. Hiba is a skilled public speaker with substantial experience on facilitating and coordinating training and learning development events. She has a considerable number of published papers and articles. Her professional affiliations include National Steering Committee- Micro Finance Unit in Sudan Central Bank, Consultative Council – Sudanese Women General Union, Women Network in the Horn of Africa.
